ACHIEVING GREATNESS TOGETHER
Doxa is the Greek word meaning GREATNESS! It recognised that each individual is important and that the community has a responsibility to ensure that every young person is given an opportunity to develop their full potential. Since it's establishment by Father Joe Giacobbe in 1972, this has been the founding philosophy that has guided Doxa on it's mission to aid some of Melbourne's most disadvantaged communities; especially that of its youth.
Today, Doxa continues to provide new and exciting opportunities for the young people of Melbourne; supporting over 5000 young Victorians each year; through their camp, university and professional programs.
Doxa Community Club, through the operation of Clocks and TMP, provides ongoing funding which allows Doxa Youth Foundation to continue to finance their great work in the community; providing positive life experiences, education opportunities and employment pathways to youth.
